Yes — PollXYZ is completely free. There are no subscription fees or paywalls.
Go to Profile → Edit Profile and tap on your username to change it.
Voting & Polls
No. Each user can vote once per poll. We enforce this to protect the integrity of results.
Votes cannot be changed once submitted. This keeps the results fair and prevents manipulation.
When you choose to vote anonymously, your username is hidden from other users and the poll creator. Your vote still counts toward aggregate results and demographic breakdowns.
Poll creators can set an end date, or we may close polls that violate our community guidelines. Closed polls still show final results.
Privacy & Data
By default, your votes are visible to everyone. You can change this in Profile → Account → Who can see my votes.
We collect your age range, gender, location, political leaning, income bracket, and interests. This is used to show demographic breakdowns on polls. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
No. We never sell personal data, user lists, or individual records. The only thing we sell to brand sponsors is aggregate, anonymous trend data — for example "68% of 25–34 year-olds prefer X". No names, no user records, ever.
Yes. Go to Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated personal data within 30 days.
Account & Settings
Go to Profile → Location → Secondary Location and tap "+ Add". Once set, secondary location is locked for 4–7 months to prevent manipulation of local poll results.
Go to Profile → Account → Notifications, or adjust notification permissions in your device settings.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and we'll send a reset link to your email address.
Content & Community
On any poll, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right and select "Report". We review all reports within 24–48 hours.
Polls that violate our community guidelines — including hate speech, misinformation, or spam — may be removed without notice. Contact us at support@pollxyz.com if you believe this was an error.
Security
We use a combination of behavioural analysis, rate limiting, and account-level controls to detect and block vote manipulation. Accounts found manipulating votes are permanently banned.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Row Level Security so no user can access another user's data through our API.
